The Ministry of Agriculture and Fikr Organization Sign a Cooperation Agreement to Promote Agricultural and Fisheries Development in Yemen

In a step to strengthen partnerships with local and international organizations, the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries today signed a joint cooperation agreement with Fikr Organization for Development and Humanitarian Work at its headquarters in the temporary capital, Aden. The agreement aims to support and develop vital projects in the agriculture and fisheries sectors.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry by Dr. Musaed Al-Qutaibi, Undersecretary for Planning and Information, while Fikr Organization was represented by its Chairman, Mr. Abdurraouf Al-Yousfi, and the Director of Grants and Partnerships, Mr. Mohammed Mansour Al-Yousfi.
This agreement establishes a joint framework for cooperation and coordination in agricultural and fisheries development. Efforts will focus on implementing several initiatives and projects targeting coastal and agricultural communities. These projects aim to improve livelihoods and combat poverty and hunger through sustainable programs, including:
Preparing studies and developmental projects.
Building the capacities of technical and administrative staff.
Exchanging expertise and information in relevant fields.
